After another rather cold day in Quebec and having completed our laundry, we make it through another stormy night and wake up this morning to a crystal clear and sunny day. This is great as we can break down our quarters dry and clean. We make another quick stop at the Decathlon Outdoor and Sports shop for some shopping, and then we cross the St. Lawrence River to catch Rt-132 to Levic, QC and to follow the river on the east side. As we pass St.-Vallier, QC the river gets wider and on the other side on the mountains we still see some patches of snow. We stop for lunch in Montmagny, QC before continuing further downstream. In l'islet-Sur-Mer, QC we stop to visit the Maritme Museum of Quebec, Captain J.E. Bernier. It is kind of different from other places we have visited and surprisingly interesting.
We follow Rt-132 to Riviere-Quelle, QC and call it the day in Riviere-du-Loup, QC. Arriving relatively early we enjoy and long and hot shower (it feels so great after those cold days) and finish the day sitting in the afternoon sun enjoying a glass or two or so of a good red. We like the sun, the warmth, the clear sky. What a great way to end the day.
